MANAGEMENT & STAFF:
We
are very selective with our staff, consistently hiring
only the best, most qualified, most experienced personnel
for every position. Our business management staff averages
over 15 years of experience in environmental remediation.
Our field management averages approximately 13 years
experience. Technicians must have a minimum of 2 years
experience in at least one discipline, and must successfully
complete our in house training in addition to standard
certification requirements. Our field technicians average
7.5 years in the environmental industry.
Our
project staff currently consists of 3 Contract Managers,
3 Project Managers, 2 Health and Safety Officers, an
Operations Manager, a Senior Superintendent, 9 supervisors
and over 100 technicians. This total is variable depending
on current workload.

Twenty
years of professional experience in the environmental
remediation field. As president/owner and chief executive
officer of Mac-Bestos Inc. Mr. Rivas main duties is
management of Mac-Bestos Inc... Mr. Rivas has fiscal
responsibility for all operations. Mr. Rivas oversees
staffing, public relations, contract negotiations, purchasing,
profit/loss, marketing, project scheduling, the development
of company policies and assuring all OSHA, HUD, EPA,
city, county and state rules and regulations are adhered
too at the strictest standards. As a project superintendent
Mr. Rivas has been involved and managed many hazardous
waste removal projects including but not limited to
asbestos abatement, lead-based paint abatement, soil
remediation, and the clean up of PCB containing materials
and mercury.

Twenty-two
years of office management experience. Of those twenty-two
years, sixteen years have been spent with Mac-Bestos
Inc. implementing and cultivating a strong corporate
management team. As vice president Mrs. Rivas main responsibility
is the direct supervision of all company operations,
which includes the planning, development and implementation
of the accounting system, management policies, employee
benefits packages, the inventory control system and
budget plan. Mrs. Rivas also supervises the hiring and
training of staff, payroll, accounts payable and receivable,
and lease management. As a project administrator Mrs.
Rivas is responsible for contract negotiations and preparation
, job costing, labor relations, and assuring all OSHA,
HUD, EPA, city, county and state rules and regulations
are adhered to at the strictest standards.

Romero
Corporate Secretary
Bookkeeper
Sixteen
years experience in accounting field, Mrs. Romero has
been the corporate secretary and bookkeeper at Mac-Bestos
for fifteen years. Mrs. Romero is responsible for accounts
payable and receivable, payroll, generation of financial
reports, new hire set up, all banking functions and
transactions. Mrs. Romero also provides administrative
assistant to office personnel.
